Good training does not start with content, it starts with the need. Who are you going to train, and what problem are you solving for them?
The questions to ask
- Who? Level, job role, age, relationship with technology.
- Why? Which concrete problem will AI solve for them?
- What? Which precise skills will they have at the end?
- How long? One hour, one day, a full learning path?
Writing learning objectives
A good objective is observable and starts with an action verb: “By the end, the learner will be able to write a structured prompt”, “… to spot a hallucination”. Avoid vague objectives such as “understand AI”.
AI tip: ask the AI to “rewrite these objectives so they are observable and measurable”. It will help you professionalise your instructional design.
