An effective trainer does not start from scratch every time: they build a library of prompts that have proved themselves. Here are a few to adapt.
Writing
“Write an email [tone: professional/warm] for [goal]. Recipient: [who]. Constraints: [length, points to cover].”
Summarising
“Summarise this text in 5 key points for someone in a hurry, then give one concluding sentence. Text: [paste].”
Teaching
“Explain [concept] to a complete beginner, with an analogy and a concrete example. Finish with a question to check understanding.”
Workshop preparation
“Suggest a run sheet for a [duration] workshop on [topic] for [audience]. Format: a table with step, objective, activity and duration.”
Exercise: create a “My prompts” document right now and add three templates that you personalise. You will keep enriching it as you practise.
