Validate your business idea — from idea to project

The value proposition is the clear promise that explains, in a single sentence, why a customer chooses you rather than someone else. It connects what the customer wants with what you offer.

YOUR OFFER • Product / service • What it gains them • What it relieves • What sets you apart THE CUSTOMER • Job to be done • Expected benefits • Pains to avoid • Current blockers FIT the promise The value proposition emerges where the offer answers the customer exactly.

A simple formula

Fill in this template: « I help [persona] to [desired outcome] thanks to [your solution], without [the usual pain]. »

  • Example: « I help freelancers invoice in 2 minutes with a simple app, with no risk of URSSAF errors. »

A good value proposition is specific (not « the best quality »), outcome-focused and understandable in 5 seconds. If a stranger can’t tell what you bring, rework it.

Key takeaway: the value proposition links the offer to the customer in one clear sentence — I help [who] to [outcome] thanks to [solution] without [pain].
