Managing your day-to-day sales on the Postdy marketplace

So that you never miss an order or a message, the Postdy marketplace gives you two complementary tools: notifications and the built-in messaging. Set up properly, they save you time and worry.

Notifications: being told at the right moment

In the settings of your seller dashboard, switch on the alerts that matter:

  • A new order has been placed.
  • A buyer has written to you.
  • A review has been posted about your shop.
  • A return or refund request has been opened.

You receive these alerts by email and/or in the notification bell of your dashboard. Avoid switching everything on for no reason: keep only the genuinely useful alerts so the important ones do not get buried.

Messaging: talking to the buyer

The built-in messaging keeps the whole conversation history attached to an order, all in one place. Its benefits:

  • You reply without leaving your dashboard.
  • Exchanges stay attached to the order, so they are easy to find again.
  • If a dispute arises, the history acts as proof of what was said.

Best practice: aim to reply within 24 hours. A seller who answers quickly and politely inspires trust and sells more. You can even prepare a few template replies (shipping confirmation, lead times, tracking) to save time without sounding cold.

Key point: switch on the useful notifications (order, message, review, return) and use the built-in messaging, which keeps the history attached to each order and serves as proof in a dispute.
