AI Trainer Training — from beginner to trainer

Facilitating means creating the conditions for the group to learn. Here are a few essential levers.

Open with energy

The first five minutes set the tone: a question, a show of hands, an anecdote. Get people involved immediately.

Encourage participation

  • Ask open questions rather than « is that clear? »
  • Use first names, move around the room, look people in the eye.
  • Online: polls, chat and breakout rooms to keep attention alive.

Manage the clock

Build in some slack. A live AI demo can fail (an outage, a slow response): always have a backup screenshot ready.

The rule of three: Voice (vary the pace), Visual (show rather than tell), Vivid experience (get them doing it).
