AI Trainer Training — from beginner to trainer

When you write to an online AI, your data may be processed on remote servers. Caution is essential.

The basic rules

  • Never enter sensitive data: passwords, bank details, health data, confidential information belonging to someone else.
  • Anonymise: replace real names with « [Client A] » before pasting a document.
  • Check the settings: some tools let you turn off the use of your conversations for training.

The GDPR framework (Europe)

The General Data Protection Regulation requires personal data to be protected. In your training sessions, remind people that pasting customers’ or students’ personal data into a consumer AI tool may constitute a breach.

Good trainer practice: offer a « confidentiality checklist » to run through before any professional use of AI. It is a habit that reassures organisations.
