Elementor is a page builder for WordPress. Instead of writing code, you assemble your page visually from blocks (headings, images, buttons, columns and so on) and see the result immediately.

Free version or Pro?

The free version is more than enough to learn and to build attractive pages: that is the one we will be using. The Pro version adds advanced widgets (forms, dynamic headers and more) that become useful later on.

Key point: Elementor does not replace WordPress. It sits on top of it so you can design your pages visually.
