Build a Website with Elementor

The Elementor editor is made up of two main areas.

The panel (on the left)

It holds the widgets (the elements you add: heading, text, image, button and so on) and, once you select an element, its settings, split across three tabs:

  • Content — the text, the image, the link…
  • Style — colours, typography, borders…
  • Advanced — margins, spacing, animations…

The canvas (on the right)

This is the live preview of your page. You drop widgets onto it and click them to edit.

The bottom bar

Here you will find the responsive preview (desktop / tablet / mobile), the history (undo) and, above all, the green Publish button.

Tip: the Ctrl/Cmd + Z shortcut undoes your last action, just like in a word processor.
