The Seller Registration form asks for a few pieces of information in order to create your shop. Nothing complicated: it is mainly about identifying you and naming your shop. Take the time to fill it in carefully, because some of it will be visible to your future customers.
The information requested
- Your identity: first name, last name and contact details. These are used to manage your account and are not always displayed publicly.
- Your shop name: this is the name buyers will see. Choose it carefully (we come back to this in module 3).
- Your contact details: email address, phone number if relevant, and in some cases an address for shipping or invoicing.
Tips for filling it in well
- Use an email address you actually check: order notifications will arrive there.
- Double-check the spelling of your shop name: it creates the first impression.
- Enter accurate contact details: they make approval and contact easier.
What you can still change
Rest assured: most of this information can be adjusted later from your seller dashboard. What matters at this stage is getting to the end of the form so your account is created. You will fine-tune every detail afterwards when you set up your shop.
Key takeaway: registration asks for your identity, a shop name and your contact details; fill them in carefully, and remember most of them can still be changed later.
