Becoming a seller on the Postdy marketplace: opening your shop

Once the form has been submitted, your seller account goes through an approval stage. This is a normal phase that protects buyers as much as it protects serious sellers like you.

How approval works

  • Depending on how the marketplace is configured, your shop may be active straight away or reviewed before it goes live.
  • You usually receive a confirmation email telling you that your seller account is ready.
  • If a review is needed, be patient: you will be notified as soon as your shop is approved.

Your first moves once approved

As soon as access to the seller dashboard is open, adopt these few habits to get off to a good start:

  1. Explore the menu: locate the Products, Orders, Earnings and Settings sections.
  2. Complete the missing information: logo, banner, description (covered in the next module).
  3. Check your contact details and your notification preferences.
  4. Find the shop settings section: that is where your first impression is decided.

Do not rush to publish a product: a shop that is properly set up before the first item inspires far more confidence. That is exactly what modules 3 and 4 are about.

Key takeaway: after you submit the form your account is approved (sometimes reviewed first); once access is open, explore the dashboard and complete your shop before you sell.
