Getting Started with WordPress and the Gutenberg Editor

Let’s put blocks into practice by building a real page.

The steps

  1. Go to Pages → Add New.
  2. Give it a title (for example: “About”).
  3. Add your blocks (heading, text, image…).
  4. Preview the result, then click Publish.

Handy settings (on the right)

  • Featured image — the page thumbnail.
  • Visibility and publication date.

Tip: “Save draft” stores your work without publishing it — perfect when you want to come back to it later.
