Getting Started with WordPress and the Gutenberg Editor

Before you publish anything, a handful of settings will give you solid foundations.

What to check under « Settings »

  • General: the site title and tagline.
  • Reading: which page acts as your homepage.
  • Permalinks: choose « Post name » for clean, readable addresses (good for search engines).

Important: set your permalinks early — changing addresses later on can break existing links.
