Managing your day-to-day sales on the Postdy marketplace

Selling is one thing; knowing exactly what you earn is essential. On the Postdy marketplace, part of every sale goes to the platform as a commission. Understanding this mechanism prevents nasty surprises.

How the money flows from a sale

When a buyer pays, the money does not reach you in full: the marketplace takes its commission, and the rest tops up your seller balance, which you can then withdraw to your bank account.

SALE 100 € paid − COMMISSION marketplace, e.g. 10 € SELLER BALANCE 90 € available PAYOUT bank account

Tracking your earnings

In the « Earnings » or « Revenue » section of your dashboard, you can see:

  • The revenue collected over a given period.
  • The amount of commission already deducted.
  • Your available balance, ready to be withdrawn.

Understanding the commission

The commission is the percentage the marketplace keeps on each sale, in exchange for the visibility, the tools and the payment security it provides. Example: on a sale of 100 € with a 10% commission, the platform keeps 10 € and 90 € lands in your balance. Always build this commission into your prices to protect your margin.

Key point: every sale is reduced by the marketplace commission before it tops up your seller balance. Track your earnings in the dedicated section and factor the commission into your prices.
