Validate your business idea — from idea to project

Once the tests are done, you have to decide: launch (go), adjust and retest (pivot), or walk away (no-go). A decision based on facts, not on emotional attachment to the idea.

Proven demand Feasibility (cost, skills) PIVOT strong demand but hard to deliver: simplify the offer GO demand + feasible: launch it NO-GO no demand, no feasibility: change idea RETEST feasible but little demand: rework the offer

The decision criteria

  • Proof of demand: were there genuine pre-orders or sign-ups?
  • Feasibility: can I deliver with my resources and skills?
  • Viability: is the break-even point reachable?
  • Motivation: do I still have the energy to carry this project?

A no-go is not a failure: it saves you months of work and a pile of money. Plenty of successful entrepreneurs dropped several ideas before the right one. What matters is deciding early, on the facts, and coming back stronger.

Key takeaway: cross proven demand with feasibility to decide go, pivot, retest or no-go. Walking away in time, on the facts, is a win, not a failure.
