Manage your projects with Trello

To collaborate without drowning in alerts, you need to understand Trello’s notification system.

When do you get notified?

  • When someone mentions you with @.
  • When a card you are watching is changed.
  • When you are assigned to a card or a due date is approaching.

Staying in control of the flow

The « Watch » button lets you follow a specific card, list or board. Also set how often you receive emails in your preferences, so you only get what matters.

The bell in the top right gathers all your notifications: check it at set times rather than continuously.

Key takeaway: watch what counts and check the bell at regular intervals, not all day long.
