A good pitch is not a recitation: it is a selected, ordered set of points chosen for this specific customer.

Structuring your arguments

  1. Restate the need confirmed during discovery.
  2. Lead with your strongest argument.
  3. Back it up with evidence (a figure, a testimonial, a demonstration).
  4. Confirm with a checking question: « Does that meet what you had in mind? »

Evidence reassures: a customer trusts a figure or another customer’s opinion far more than a promise. Stay concrete and concise: three solid arguments beat ten diluted ones.

Finally, match your vocabulary to the customer’s: using their own words strengthens their buy-in.

Key takeaway: an effective pitch starts from the need, offers evidence and is checked as you go. Prioritise, do not recite.
