Creating and managing your products on the Postdy marketplace

Some products come in several variants : a t-shirt in several sizes and colours, a candle in several scents. Rather than creating one listing per version, the Postdy marketplace lets you group everything into a single listing with variations.

Simple product or variable product ?

Simple product White mug one price, one stock Product with variations T-shirt 1 parent listing S / Blue 19 € · 12 pcs M / Blue 19 € · 8 pcs L / Red 21 € · 5 pcs Each variant has its own price and its own stock, yet everything stays on a single listing.

How it works

  • You define options (e.g. : Size = S, M, L ; Colour = Blue, Red).
  • The marketplace generates the combinations (S/Blue, M/Blue, L/Red…).
  • For each combination, you set a dedicated price, stock and, if you wish, photo.

For the buyer it is very comfortable : they pick their size and colour from drop-down menus, and the price adjusts on its own. On your side, you track the stock of each version independently : L/Red can be sold out while M/Blue is still available.

Key takeaway : a listing with variations gathers every variant of the same product; each size or colour combination has its own price and stock, on a single listing.
