Three steps remain to finish your first listing : adding the photos, entering the stock, then choosing whether to publish it or keep it as a draft.
Adding photos
- Use the « Product image » field for the main photo (the one shown in search results).
- Complete it with the gallery : several views from different angles, a close-up, a lifestyle shot.
- Favour sharp, bright images ; we will cover photo best practices in module 4.
Managing stock
In the stock section, you can enter the quantity available. The marketplace then deducts each sale and automatically shows « sold out » when nothing is left, which prevents you from selling an unavailable item.
Draft or live ?
- Draft : the listing is saved but stays invisible to buyers. Perfect for preparing it calmly.
- Live (published) : the listing becomes visible and the product can be bought.
The right habit : save as a draft first, reread everything with a clear head and the fresh eyes from module 1, then click « Publish » once you are confident. You can always switch a live listing back to draft if needed.
Key takeaway : add a main photo and a gallery, enter your stock so availability updates automatically, and prepare in draft before going live.
