Creating and managing your products on the Postdy marketplace

From your seller dashboard, adding a product is done through a simple form. Let’s go through it in order so nothing is forgotten and you publish a complete listing on your very first attempt.

The steps of the form

  1. In your dashboard, open the « Products » section then click « Add a product ».
  2. Enter the title : short, specific, using the word a buyer would type in the search box.
  3. Write the description : introduce the product, its features and its benefits.
  4. Choose the category that fits best, so you get found in the right place.

Writing a good title and description

  • The title ideally combines the type of product with one distinctive detail : « Vanilla scented candle, plant-based wax ».
  • The description starts with the essentials (what it is, who it is for), then goes into detail (material, size, contents, care).

Tip : write as if a customer were asking you the question face to face. Answer « what is it, what is it for, what exactly do I receive ? ». You can always come back and edit the listing later : nothing is set in stone.

Key takeaway : the add-product form follows a simple order — title, description, category. Fill it in with the buyer’s practical questions in mind.
